A Brief History of Misinformation
Aotearoa New Zealand, just like most other nations, has been flooded with misinformation since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Misinformation is false, inaccurate or misleading information that is mistakenly or accidentally created or spread. It can cause harm if people start to believe it as true.
